Participating In The Campaign

Last Updated: 08/24/2012
This page will introduce the many different types of activism efforts those who are victims of these crimes as well as our supporters can use to raise awareness of these crimes and to help stop these crimes. Feel free to use the ideas below for your own campaign. We will add much more content on this section very soon. Thank you for your support.

How to Start Your Own Local Activism Group for Targets of These Crimes
This is a series of teleseminars and webinars that show those interested in starting their own local activism group with the Indigo Ribbon Campaign, or those who already have a group, to begin to assist other victims of these crimes, network with other activism groups for this cause in other cities, states, countries and continents to help stop these crimes world-wide. We currently have them scheduled to run every other week. The new schedule is TBA. Here is our first podcast. We will put here the links that are referenced in the podcast below here shortly.

Levels of participation (November of each year) - How you can help

One good component of the campaign effort is the part that is fueled by the power of prayer. We ask that participants in the campaign pray with me, Targeted Individuals and their supporters at every sun-up within your own time-zones and at every sundown. We will pray for the increasing awareness of the plight of Targeted Individuals and show our love and support  for Targeted Individuals. This prayer vigil will be during those times, twice per day, running from November 1st 2012 to December 2nd 2012 at 12:01am. Events and activities for Indigo Ribbon Day on November 23rd, 2012 are TBA. December 2nd, 2012, the “extra” day is symbolic in that November is not the cut-off point of continuing activism efforts and raising awareness. It will also be the date that the campaign trail begins again for 2013. We will continue our efforts to raise awareness of the plight of Targeted individuals and help them take back their guaranteed human rights that everyone without exception (ideally) should never be without.

What is needed for the prayer vigils

  1. Candles. We ask that, for the symbolism in the Indigo Ribbon, that the colors Indigo and/or White are the main colors used during these prayers. Suggested candle types:
    1. Novena candle, either white or indigo. If you are religious, any part of your religious symbolism on the Novena candles is more than welcome, e.g. the types of Novena candles used in some Christian traditions
    2. Another is white tealight candles or even indigo ones. Just a heads up here: these will last about two-three days use. Dollar tree (actual store, as opposed to their website, which requires bulk-buying to get the discount), Kroger, Wal-mart, etc. sell them by the 10pack for around $1.00. Also Dollar Tree offers bulk deals (website bulk-buy link only. Also note: some purchases have minimum quantity purchase requirements so this is good for groups) for tealight candles. If you have a group together and everyone is willing to pitch in, there is savings for purchasing the tealight candles from dollar tree. The same can be said for buying them bulk from Amazon.com
    3. Pillar candles can work as well.
    4. Safe candle holder. Tealights and Novena candles usually come with their own but safety first.
    5. Lighter of your preference
    6. I’m asking for everyone to include at the end their prayers the following line, or your own variation of it, “Targets of these crimes and supporters of them, I see you, I hear you, and I am with you.”
    7. Most importantly is the active participation of each supporter, both Targeted Individual and supportive individuals alike. It is the drive and willingness to sit with each of us each sun-up and each sundown praying for Targeted Individuals this November being with them in spirit. Even if that is all that is done each day during this campaign by supporters, that, we believe, will help more than any person can imagine. Even something as seemingly insignificant as wishing someone well via prayer can give a person all the sight in the world to recognize the courage within themselves. Just speak from your hearts. The other stuff is extra. Your heart— That is all that is really needed in prayer.
All those with the capability and do not mind doing video blogs, you can video tape yourself praying, and either send them to me to add to the Indigo Ribbon Campaign YouTube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/indigoribboncampaign or post them on your own website to show support. If possible, try to post each video blog the same times twice a day you decide to post.
Also those with the audio capability but no video please record themselves on audio, volunteers will create an online platform where it can be sent to the webmaster. This should be up and active no later than September 10th, 2012.
Also those who would rather write their prayers, please submit them to me using this form below. You have my permission to use my e-mail address if you would rather remain anonymous.

Indigo Ribbon Campaign: Prayers for Campaign Submission Form

(form is currently closed. Will reopen for the campaign official start October 2012

The alternative is to submit your written prayer at about-oseh(at)ati4hope(dot)info. I will read them during the prayer vigil times during the video filming of my own prayers in addition to my own prayers and post them the same on the Indigo Ribbon Campaign YouTube Channel
For the purpose of the prayers and in hopes of helping to raise the point that the problems of organized stalking and electronic harassment occur around the world, volunteers will take any prayer posts and, with the permission of the authors, type them here on the blog for translation others whose primary language is not English can easily translate. Also if you are bilingual and would like to volunteer to translate, please contact me. We would very much appreciate an audio translation of the following line that concludes the prayer video blog posts, “Targeted Individuals and supporters of them, I see you, I hear you, I am with you, and I pray for you.” that we may include on this site. You do not have to identify yourself and I will not reveal who you are if you wish to remain completely anonymous.

Online activism:

We will be providing downloadable materials for those who wish to create a campaign on their site along with this one soon. For now, we have banners for use to download and you can upload them to your own site. Below is the html code and the image for your use. At this time we cannot allow users to hotlink our images from this site (this will change when we move to an independent webspace soon) You do have our absolute permission to download our image and upload it to your site, we just ask that you link back to us here.

Options for activism gear:

Also some suggestions for when you use or wear the activism gear:

  1. Wearing gear as symbol of activism in addition to passing out fliers (see below about fliers), speaking on the issues, etc.
  2. For those with video-taping abilities, wearing or using the gear while filming your prayers
  3. For those with audio-taping abilities, wearing or using the gear in symbolic support of Targeted Individuals as you record your prayers for submission.
  4. For those who do not mind taking a picture of themselves, picture submission to the site will be much appreciated. You can use your actual name or an alias. The only guideline for using an alias is it has to be a name. e.g. Frank Castle (anonymous submitters alias) rather than BigTimeStar2856 (username alias on the internet). The other alternative for the picture submission is if you do not wish to include a picture of yourself (for reasons such as safety and wish to remain anonymous) that clearly identifies you e.g. your face showing in the image, we only ask that you leave your actual name, the nearest major city you are near (even if you do not actually live there) and what country you live in, in any of the following formats below. For example: A Supporter named Mary Lee Walsch ( [example] real name) submitted a photo only shows her wearing the cuffs from the neck down. She lives in Fairbanks, Alaska and the nearest major city to her is Anchorage.
    1. Mary Lee W., Anchorage, AK USA
    2. Mary L. Walsch, Anchorage, AK USA
    3. M.L. Walsch, Anchorage, AK USA
    4. M. Walsch, Anchorage, AK USA
As you may have guessed the point is to put real human faces to this campaign. Here  we intend to make it easier for those with real interest in helping but also has genuine concerns for their own safety and well-being to be able to participate while both protecting themselves as much as possible while at the same time clearly demonstrating their support by putting a real human face to the activism efforts.
    1. Passing out fliers to advertise the campaign. As the only known Indigo Ribbon Campaign website that is currently active (we hope to change this soon) we will use this website link, ircampaign.info, to print on the campaign fliers and as an information web link for non-targets to view, as well as stopos.info (external site, unaffiliated with ircampaign.info). One flyer is ready for use: Click here to download it for free.
    2. Holding and video-taping prayer vigils at Occupy Wall-Street protests, at sun-up and sun-down wearing the gear.
    3. In-person and possibly webinar-style presentations of the Indigo Ribbon campaign on a website as well as presentations (both webinar-style and in-person) of explaining the crimes of Organized Stalking and Electronic Harassment. Currently Ircampaign.info will use this website address as well as video channels such as YouTube and UStream. The webinar idea is for increasing accessibility to the information, especially since more people can logon to the internet than can attend a group presentation that may not even be held within an interested group of potential supporters state. We will also create a downloadable audio version of in-person presentations as well as audio versions of the webinars for more accessibility. If anyone has experience in doing webinars or even group presentations, consider volunteering with us. Click here to get into contact with us.
    4. Possible idea. Anyone with extra tealight candles in addition to Indigo Ribbons or Indigo Ribbon buttons can hand one out to each person at a rally while passing out fliers and telling non-Targeted Individuals/(potential) TI-Supportive Individuals) about who Targeted Individuals are, about organized stalking and electronic harassment, etc. And bring a lighter. Anyone that accepts a tealight candle from you, you can share the lighter and pray together.
Sources of the many ideas for this campaign can be attributed to: IndigoRibbon.com (Currently inactive)
